We're always happy to hear about awards that our favorite Japanese automaker has won, as well as any that they are participating in, and we've just learned which vehicle of theirs is eligible for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility of the Year Awards. The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has been chosen and we're crossing out fingers for it already.
The Ridgeline is up against some intense competition this year but we have no doubt it will pull ahead, especially with the inclusion of the new Utility category. In the past, minivans and SUVs were included in the Truck category and it made for some interesting comparisons; now that those are moved to Utility, the Ridgeline and its rivals will be on even ground.
We'll be watching out for the three rounds of judging and the announcement of the finalists in December, so be sure to keep your eyes on our blog. For now, we welcome one and all to come out to our Poway, CA dealership and explore all that our new Honda model selection has to offer.
